Elderberry Jam

Elderberries have been prized in Italy since the time of the Romans who called them sambucus. The sweet, black-purple elderberries used in this delicious jam come from the fertile forests of central Italy where they are picked at the peak of their ripeness.

The berries are then mixed with all-natural ingredients to create a rich jam which forms a perfect accompaniment for cheeses, desserts or the breads and pastries that make an integral part of any Italian breakfast.
